Step 1
Verified starting point
Open Branches, select Edit Branch, and use Ordering Modes. The live controls include Dine In, Takeaway, Carside Handoff, Delivery, Tablet Ordering, Kiosk, and POS Lite.
- Dirty changes show Unsaved, Discard, and Save Changes
- Required customer phone can be set separately by fulfillment type
Step 2
Enable the branch order types
Go to Branches, open the branch, and find Ordering Modes. Switch on only the modes the location can currently fulfill: Takeaway, Carside, Delivery, or Dine In. Select Save; changing a switch without saving does not update the storefront.
- Configure each branch independently
- Enable Delivery only after its areas and operating process are ready
Step 3
Check the required details
Review the branch hours and payment methods for every enabled mode. Carside collects vehicle details for handoff, Delivery requires a valid delivery area, and Dine In should use configured tables when table identity is required.
- Keep phone requirements aligned with the handoff process
- Do not promise a mode that the branch team cannot see and serve
Step 4
Copy and test the direct link
Use the branch storefront link from Scan & Order. In a private browser window, select each enabled order type, build an order, and continue through checkout far enough to verify required fields, fees, minimums, hours, and available payments.
- Test one disabled mode to confirm it is absent
- Repeat the check in English and Arabic
Step 5
Correct a held order before approval
When a branch uses manual approval, open Orders → Live Orders → Order details and choose Edit order while the order is still held. Add, remove, or change items, modifiers, notes, or the table, then save. The server reprices the current menu and rules, and the order remains pending until staff approve it.
- A paid order may be edited only when its recalculated total remains exactly unchanged
- Editing closes after acceptance or kitchen work begins
- An active Pay at Table attempt also blocks editing so the quoted amount cannot change during payment
