Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences and understand how you interact with it.

We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage.

Essential cookies are required for the Service to function, including authentication, session, and security cookies.

Preference cookies remember choices such as dark or light mode and language preferences.

Analytics cookies (we use Google Analytics) help us understand how visitors find and use our website and signup pages so we can improve them.

Advertising cookies from Google Ads let us measure the effectiveness of our own marketing campaigns — for example, recognizing when a visitor signs up after clicking one of our ads. We do not display third-party ads inside DashDine, we do not sell your data, and we do not build advertising profiles of your restaurant’s customers.

Google Analytics and Google Ads run only on DashDine’s own website and signup pages; the first onboarding page uses them only to record a Google sign-up. They never run on restaurant menus, ordering devices (POS, kiosk, table tablet, kitchen and runner screens) or the restaurant dashboard, and measurement pages never send email addresses, invitation links or payment links to them.

Inside the restaurant dashboard, onboarding and staff tools we use PostHog product analytics to see which features restaurant teams use. It keeps its data in memory for the open page only and sets no cookies. Restaurant menus show owners first-party daily counts (menu views, dish opens, cart adds) with no cookies or visitor identifiers.

We store landing-page path, UTM source, medium, campaign, content and term, and referrer domain as first-party attribution even if you do not choose analytics cookies. We do not store IP address, user agent, or arbitrary query parameters for this purpose. GCLID is stored only after you consent to advertising measurement.

Some features may rely on third-party providers such as payment, hosting, analytics, and security tools. Those providers may set their own cookies according to their policies.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies.

Blocking all cookies may break login, checkout, or other required Service features.

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies. Changes will be posted here with an updated date.
