Step 1
Verified starting point
Open Menu. Use Add Category or Add Item; for an existing item open its actions and select Edit Item, then work in Modifier Groups.
- Item fields include category, name, description, price, prep time, allergens, dietary labels, image, and branches
- A group can be Single or Multiple and Optional or Required
Step 2
Build the category structure
Go to Menu and select Add Category. Use guest-facing category names that match how people browse, then use Add Item and assign each item to the correct category. Enter the item name, description, price, preparation time, and image where available.
- Keep the category list short enough to scan on a phone
- Do not create duplicate items to represent optional choices
Step 3
Configure modifier groups
Open an existing item and use Modifier Groups. Add a group, give it a clear question such as Choose a size, then add its options and price adjustments. Set minimum and maximum selections so a required production choice cannot be skipped and an optional add-on is not forced.
- Use one modifier option for each kitchen instruction
- Check the final price effect for every paid option
Step 4
Save and place a test order
Save the item, open the customer storefront, and place it in the cart. Test the minimum and maximum rules, English and Arabic labels, option availability, calculated price, and the ticket received by the kitchen.
- The server recalculates the final total
- Edit the existing item when a rule is wrong instead of creating a second copy
