Step 1
Verified starting point
Open Settings → Printing on the Windows terminal connected to the printers. Install QZ Tray, install the provided override.crt exactly as shown, restart QZ Tray, then Refresh.
- Choose exact operating-system printer names
- Use Print receipt test and Print test kitchen ticket
- Branch POS printing controls hold automatic routing and copy settings
Step 2
Install and connect QZ Tray
On the Windows computer physically connected to the printers, install and run QZ Tray. Go to Settings → Printing, download the DashDine override.crt when required by the trust setup, fully exit QZ Tray, restart it, and select Refresh until the page shows connected.
- The browser and QZ Tray must run on the local printer terminal
- Never install or share the app's private signing key
Step 3
Save exact printer destinations
Choose the Customer receipt printer and Kitchen printer using the exact names reported by the operating system. Select Save Changes. Use Print receipt test and Print test kitchen ticket, including Arabic text and long modifier names, before live service.
- Do not guess or abbreviate an operating-system printer name
- Confirm paper width, cutting, direction, and Arabic glyphs
Step 4
Configure branch print behavior
In the branch POS printing controls, choose which receipt and kitchen buttons appear, whether printing is automatic, the trigger, copies, and up to the supported configured printer destinations. Current routing can send whole dockets to selected printers; it does not split individual items into separate printer payloads.
- Test retries so a reconnect does not duplicate production
- Document the fallback if QZ Tray, the network, or a printer stops
