Step 1
Open the Z-report
In DashDine HQ, open Reports and choose Z-Report. Pick the branch and the date you want to check.
- Sessions, in the same menu, lists each service session you opened and closed

What the report shows
The Z-report shows total and net revenue, tax, refunds, tips and promo discounts. It counts completed, cancelled, rejected and voided orders, and breaks payments down by type.
- It also shows the average order value and your top dishes
Step 3
Compare with your drawer and card machine
Count the cash drawer and compare it with the cash total. Compare card payments with your card machine report. Ask about any cancelled or voided order you did not expect.
- Print or export the report to keep a copy
- Close each day the same way, every day
