Step 1
Verified starting point
Open Scan & Order. Step 1 is Choose where the QR code opens; Step 2 is Design your printable QR card.
- Branch link is available immediately
- Use Add tables before creating table-specific links
- Card changes save automatically
Step 2
Choose the branch and destination
Go to Scan & Order and select the branch. Choose Branch link for one branch-wide entry point, or add tables first and then choose a table link to attach a table number automatically. If no tables are available, follow Manage Tables / Add Tables first, then return and select the table.
- Use a table-specific code only on its assigned table
- Use the stable DashDine short link generated by this screen
Step 3
Design and export the card
Open the card designer, choose the layout, wording, size, palette, and English/Arabic treatment, then inspect Preview. Export the required PNG, SVG, or PDF / print package for the printer or sign maker.
- Do not stretch a downloaded QR image
- Keep the quiet margin around the code clear of logos and decoration
Step 4
Test the physical result
Scan the final printed card from the guest's standing or seated position with both iPhone and Android devices. Confirm the correct branch opens and a table-specific code carries the correct table number into the order.
- Test under day and evening lighting
- Replace any card that is scratched, reflective, or assigned to the wrong table
Step 5
Pause ordering for one table without reprinting
Open Branches → Edit Branch → Tables and turn off Customer QR ordering for the affected table. Guests can still scan the same printed code and browse the menu, but cart and checkout are blocked until the switch is restored.
- Existing orders continue normally
- Waiter, POS Lite, Runner, kiosk, and tablet ordering are not paused
- Turn the same switch back on to resume guest ordering; the stable printed QR remains valid
