Step 1
Find the table
In DashDine HQ, open Branches, choose the branch and open Table Management. Each table has its own customer ordering switch.
- Pausing one table does not affect the other tables
Step 2
Pause or resume ordering
Turn the switch off to pause guest ordering for the table. You see “Customer ordering paused for this table.” Turn it on again when the table is ready.
- Guests at that table can still see the menu
Step 3
What staff can still do
The pause only stops guests from ordering by themselves. Staff can still take orders for that table in the POS or the waiter app.
- Useful for reserved tables, large groups or a table waiting to pay
