Ordering Channels & Custom Rules

Connect Your Menu to Google and Local Profiles

Use the canonical branch ordering link wherever customers search, map, message, or return to your restaurant.

7 minBest for: Owners and marketing managers

Step 1

Verified starting point

Open Scan & Order and find Get found → Add your menu to Google. Copy the displayed branch link.

  • Google path shown: Edit profile → Menu, or Food ordering → Order online link
  • Use Open Google Business Profile to continue in Google

Step 2

Copy the correct branch link

Go to Scan & Order, select the branch, and find Google Business. Select Copy short link. This is the stable DashDine link for that branch; do not copy a temporary checkout or preview URL from the browser.

  • Repeat this process for each branch profile
  • Open the copied link once to confirm the branch name and order modes

Step 3

Add it in Google Business Profile

Select Open Google Business Profile, sign in to the Google account that manages the location, and add the copied URL as the menu or ordering link supported by the profile. Save the Google change. Google's available fields and review timing are controlled by Google.

  • Use the matching branch profile, not the restaurant group's wrong location
  • Keep the public storefront live before submitting the link

Step 4

Verify from Search and Maps

After Google publishes the update, open the listing from a signed-out browser or Maps, follow the menu/order action, and confirm it opens the right branch. Place a controlled test order if the restaurant is ready to receive it.

  • Check English and Arabic storefront behavior
  • Update the profile if a branch closes or its canonical link changes

Common questions

Does DashDine edit my Google profile automatically?

No. DashDine provides the stable branch link and opens Google Business Profile; an authorized profile manager saves the link in Google.
