Ordering Channels & Custom Rules

Set Delivery Zones, Fees, and Minimum Orders

Draw reliable service boundaries and make the economics of each delivery area explicit before checkout.

9 minBest for: Operations and delivery managers

Step 1

Verified starting point

Open Branches → Edit Branch → Delivery zones. Select catalog areas grouped by municipality; this screen does not draw map polygons.

  • Delivery must be enabled in Ordering Modes
  • Each selected area has fee, minimum order, and ETA fields
  • Finish with Save areas

Step 2

Enable Delivery for the branch

Open Branches, select the branch, enable Delivery under Ordering Modes, and select Save. Then open that branch's Delivery zones page. DashDine uses the available city and area catalog for the branch country; this screen does not draw freehand map polygons.

  • Confirm the branch country and address first
  • Use the catalog area that matches the address data customers will enter

Step 3

Select areas and enter rules

Choose the service areas grouped by city. For each selected area enter Delivery fee (QAR), Minimum order (QAR), and ETA (minutes). Fees and minimums must be zero or more; ETA must be a whole number. Select Save areas.

  • Use zero only when free delivery is intentional
  • Set an ETA the branch can meet during normal demand

Step 4

Verify checkout boundaries

Open the storefront, choose Delivery, and test one address in every saved area plus one outside the service list. Confirm the fee, minimum-order warning, ETA, and final server-calculated total before accepting live orders.

  • Test both a basket below and above the minimum
  • Recheck areas whenever the branch moves or delivery capacity changes

Common questions

Can I draw a custom polygon on the map?

Not in the current area editor. Select supported catalog areas and assign a fee, minimum, and ETA to each one.
