Step 1
Verified starting point
Use Settings → Team for named email/password accounts; use Staff for four-digit operational PINs. In Team, select Invite member, choose Manager or Cashier, and assign branches.
- Existing accounts cannot be invited
- Manager is described as operations-only without settings or billing
- Team activity excludes the owner’s own actions
Step 2
Choose the correct access type
Use Settings → Team for named Manager and Cashier accounts that sign in with email and password. Use Staff for fast floor, runner, or kitchen PIN access. These are separate access models; a cashier PIN does not replace a named POS Lite account.
- Managers receive only the branches and responsibilities they need
- Create a unique PIN or account for each person
Step 3
Invite a manager or cashier
Go to Settings → Team and select Invite Member. Enter the person's email, choose Manager or Cashier, assign the permitted branches, and send the invitation. Ask the recipient to accept it through the signed invitation flow and sign in with their own account.
- A manager/cashier with no assigned branch cannot open a register
- Never share the owner's account to avoid the invitation process
Step 4
Verify and remove access
Sign in with the invited account and confirm it can open the required branch and cannot open unassigned branches or owner-only controls. Review Team and Staff after a transfer, resignation, lost device, or suspected disclosure, then disable the affected access immediately.
- Preserve personal attribution for refunds and corrections
- Review branch assignments on a regular schedule
