New DashDine plans: what each one is for

Three plans, one job each — get your menu online, run your whole ordering operation, or run several branches. Here is what changed, including why the free plan is gone.

New DashDine plans: what each one is for

We have reorganised DashDine into three plans. The aim was not to charge more; it was to make it obvious which plan a restaurant actually needs, and to stop pretending a free tier was doing anyone a favour.

Every plan still keeps the same promise: the orders are yours, the customers are yours, and there is no commission on anything you sell.

Digital Menu — QAR 49 a month

For a restaurant whose first problem is that the menu is on paper.

You get a QR menu customers can order from directly, in English and Arabic, with unlimited categories and items. It covers 100 orders a month, one branch, and your menu can be updated as often as you like.

This is the plan for a place that wants to stop reprinting menus and stop taking every order by phone. It is not trying to run your kitchen.

Pro — QAR 149 a month

For a restaurant running its ordering operation on DashDine.

Unlimited orders and items, plus the parts that matter once volume is real: the kitchen display, the runner workflow, self-service kiosk, table ordering, and delivery zones. It also includes the AI tools — the menu builder that turns a photo or PDF of your menu into a live one, and the Storefront Studio that designs your customer-facing page.

Growth — QAR 299 a month

Pro, for restaurants with more than one location. Three branches are included, with a per-branch price after that, and one dashboard across all of them.

The 14-day trial has not changed

Full Pro access for 14 days. No card, and it does not roll into a paid plan on its own — when it ends, you choose a plan or you do not.

Why the free plan is gone

We used to offer a free tier. It is no longer available to new restaurants.

The honest reason: a free plan that can take real customer orders has to be supported like a paid one. Payments, uptime, the kitchen screen, someone answering when something breaks on a Friday night — none of that gets cheaper because the restaurant is not paying. What a free tier actually produces is a service that is stretched thin for everyone, including the restaurants paying for it.

At QAR 49, Digital Menu is priced to be an easy decision for a restaurant that just wants its menu online and orderable. That is a clearer deal than free with limits we would eventually have to tighten.

Restaurants already on the free plan keep it. Nothing was switched off.

If a subscription lapses

Your menu stays browsable for 7 days and you get a daily reminder. During that window customers can look but not order. After it, the page comes offline.

Nothing is deleted at any point — menu, branches, staff, settings and past orders all stay exactly as they were, and paying brings the whole thing back within seconds. There is no downgrade tier that quietly strips features you had; either the account is paid or it is paused.

Picking one

If your menu is still on paper, start with Digital Menu. If you are taking enough orders that the kitchen needs its own screen, you want Pro. If you have more than one branch, Growth.

You can move up at any time from the billing page, and the trial is there if you would rather see Pro working in your own restaurant before deciding.
