Create and verify your account

How to sign up, what the form asks for, how email verification works, and how to recover when the verification message does not arrive.

Where to sign up

Visit dashdinemenu.com and click Get started, or go directly to /signup. Signing up is free and does not require a credit card — every account begins with a 14-day free trial of the full system.

What the form asks for

Your brand name as you want it to appear on receipts, your menu, and customer emails.

The owner email. The verification message and all account notifications go here.

PasswordRequired

Minimum eight characters, scored for length and character variety. Weak passwords are rejected.

Terms acceptanceRequired

A checkbox confirming you accept the terms of service and privacy policy.

What happens when you submit

    Your restaurant account is created and the 14-day free trial starts.

  2. 2

    A verification email is sent to the address you provided. The link inside is the only way to confirm the account.

  3. 3

    You are held on the email-verification page until you click that link.

  4. 4

    After verification you land in the onboarding wizard, which creates your first branch and walks you through the minimum setup.

Why we verify your email

Verification proves you can receive password resets and billing notifications at the address on file. Until you verify, you cannot publish a menu, create ordering entry points, or accept real orders — that keeps abandoned or fake accounts from appearing as live restaurants.

If the email does not arrive

  • Wait two minutes — most providers deliver within thirty seconds, but it can take longer.
  • Check spam, promotions, and any company filters. Add no-reply@dashdinemenu.com to your safe-sender list.
  • On the verify-email page click "Resend verification" once. Repeated clicks are throttled.
  • If nothing arrives within ten minutes, contact support with the exact email address you used.

Common verification errors

What the error message means
"Link expired"

The verification link is more than 24 hours old. Resend a fresh one and try again.

"Already verified"

Your email is confirmed. Sign in directly at /login.

"Invalid token"

The link was truncated by an email client or pre-scanned by a security tool. Resend and click the new link directly without copy-pasting.

Frequently asked

  • Do I need a credit card to sign up?
    No. The trial starts without any payment details. You only enter payment information if you choose a paid plan later.
  • Can I change the restaurant name after signing up?
    Yes. The name is editable in Settings at any time. The account email and password can also be changed from your profile.
