Reports and branch performance
Use revenue, top items, peak hours, and order volume reports to understand each branch, compare locations side by side, and print clean reports for meetings.
Who this is for
Owners and managers reviewing business performance.
What the reports cover
Open Reports in the admin sidebar. Because every order flows through DashDine — from the customer’s phone through the kitchen to fulfilment — the reports reflect your real service, not estimates.
Order revenue over the selected period, so you can track totals and trends.
Your best-selling menu items, ranked. Tells you what to feature, what to prep more of, and what to consider retiring.
When orders actually arrive through the day. The basis for staffing and prep decisions.
Order counts over time, including the split across order types.
Side-by-side view of branches so you can see which location is growing and which needs attention.
Reading reports per branch
Reports are scoped by branch, so each location’s numbers reflect its own service. Pick the branch and the date range, then read the trend rather than a single day — a quiet Tuesday is noise, three quiet Tuesdays in a row is a pattern.
Comparing branches
- Use branch performance comparison to put locations side by side on revenue and order volume, rather than checking each branch separately.
- Compare like with like: a mall branch and a street branch have different peak hours, so compare each branch against its own previous period as well as against its siblings.
- When one branch’s top items differ sharply from another’s, check whether the menu, pricing, or photos differ — the gap is often operational, not demand.
Using peak hours to plan service
- Schedule kitchen and runner staffing around the actual peak windows, not assumed ones — the report often shifts the rush thirty to sixty minutes from where owners expect it.
- Compare peak hours across branches before sharing staff between nearby locations.
- After a menu or hours change, watch the next two weeks of peak hours and order volume to confirm the effect.
